My photographs are spontaneous snapshots that feel like eye candy or memories. Although most of my work has been in color, I also experiment with black-and-white. I love how black-and-white photographs change the vibe and detail of an image—it’s so captivating. Being natural with my images and keeping them focused in the moment is what I enjoy most. Photographs are physical memories I can go back to. While I like taking pictures that are pleasing to the eye, the artistic aspect is less about making it look nice and more about the memory behind it. I enjoy photographing my boyfriend. I love admiring his face and how the camera captures emotion in his expressions. He’s very self-conscious, so I do this to show him he’s more than beautiful enough to be the center of attention. I like to show how the world looks through my eyes, giving the viewer a glimpse of another person's life and how differently everyone can perceive the same thing.
