As a kid who grew up primarily on cartoons, it is important for me to depict the real world as magical as a work of fiction. I want to look at my work like I do with my inspirations and say, “Damn, that’s cool.” One of my biggest influences is the filmmaker Edgar Wright. His use of color, framing, and style drives me to make something different, unique, colorful, and vibrant. I love going on walks, looking in the crevices of the world, and finding the color and beauty in life. On clear sunny days, the sunrise and sunset provide an interesting background that makes the colors of both the natural world and the city pop.
